PZ5A Team The three Mississippi PZ team members are veterans of all MDXA operating activities from annual Field Day in 1999 - 2003, K5MDX Contest entries, Dauphin Island (W4D) IOTA expeditions in 1999, 2001 & 2002 to the most recent Cat Island (K5C) IOTA expeditions in 2002 & 2003. We are happy to be joined by our host, Ramon, PZ5RA to round out the team. Having a local PZ operator with years of on-air experience will be a huge advantage to the team. If you have questions or comments about our operation, please contact the team at pz5a@mdxa.org Darryl, KD5CQT / PZ5CQ Glenn, K2FF / PZ5FF Darryl is great both behind the mic and on the key. His training as an EMT makes him the team medic. Glenn is the team leader. He has considerable SSB contesting and DXpedition experience as well as exceptional organizational skills. Randy, W5UE / PZ5UE Ramon, PZ5RA Randy is serving as webmaster for the team. He prefers CW contesting but is not opposed to a good SSB pileup. Ramon is hosting the contest station from his home QTH and providing accomodations for the rest of the team. We will benefit greatly from his knowledge of PZ propagation and operating abilities during the contest.
