Some changes this year. Bovet and Butan now history. Interesting that TWO of our top ten are possessions of the USA, only a few hundred miles from our coast.....

#2 VU/A Nothing on this very rare place!
#3 70 Political situation there only exasperated by events of 9-11-01. Long time off would be my guess.
#4 VU/L Maybe in few years... Have heard that some VUs are working on this one.
#5 VP8 (South Sandwich Is.) GET READY!!! A large group of seasoned DXpeditioners plan to activate VP8/sg and VP8/ss in the January to February, 2002 timeframe. Keep watching the bulletins, it is still a VERY DIFFICULT place to reach.
#6 BS7 No change, Philippines and China still fussing over who owns it.

#9 KP1 US owns it but understand that Haitian pirates are using it and US too busy now to run them off.
#10 KP5 US owns this one also... A National Park.. To date, no one can get permission to land there, and MANY have tried.
