Parting Words
This year also brought sadness to our club. Two longtime members and DXers passed away. Tommy Jackson, KB5OGM and Joe Wood, AJ0X both became Silent Keys this year. They are greatly missed by all members of the club. We dedicate this year's newsletter to their memory.
The MDXA Web Page has continued to be a great success. This year it
topped 11,000 hits since it's birth last year. It is my pleasure to provide
this service to our members. Also, I would like to thank the many W5
Bureau sorters who have joined us with email address and databases on
the web. We are now at 19 letters with on-line databases and all 26
letter sorters have their email address available on the web. Our users
really appreciate this service. We are the ONLY bureau in the world
to provide an on-line lookup of your bureau status. The bureau web page
is at over 13,000 hits as of this writhing. Thanks to all!!!
